ergene

Ergene is a river that passes through the Thrace region, which houses many of Turkey's and Europe's textile factories. This river, which is rapidly polluted by the production wastes of fast fashion and lack of control, pollutes the region where rice agriculture is most intense in Turkey. The state does not impose any sanctions on factories. People living in the region get sick because of this pollution. Considering that fresh water resources will be depleted with global warming, every resource we pollute will return to us as thirst. There is no chance to lose a river in my country where lakes and rivers are already dry.
